Green Smoothie with Mint and Hemp

Makes 1 smoothie

1/2 cup water

1 ripe banana, frozen (or 1/2 cup)

1/2 cup frozen mango

1/2 cup frozen pineapple 

1/2 cup packed kale, rinsed and destemmed

1/8 cup packed mint leaves

2 tbsp hemp hearts

seeds (pepita, hemp, sunflower), nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans) granola and/or sliced fruit to serve

 

Add water, frozen fruit, kale, mint and hemp hearts to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. If you have a strong blender you could probably get away with less water.

Pour into a glass or bowl, and top with seeds, nuts, sliced fruit and/or granola.
